Four possible semi-final opponents: What if...? The scenarios at a glance// NEWSEHC Red Bull München is through to the play-off semi-finals. But who could our boys face in the last four? We present the possible scenarios.

Our boys have already qualified for the playoff semi-finals of the PENNY DEL with a sweep against Wolfsburg last Sunday. The same goes for the Pinguins Bremerhaven, who beat Ingolstadt 4:0.

Now we have to wait. Our opponent for the next round will be determined on Thursday evening at the earliest and Saturday evening at the latest. Depending on the outcome of the series between Berlin and Mannheim (current score 3:1) and Straubing and Schwenningen (2:2), there are four possible scenarios:

We face Bremerhaven, ... ... if Berlin and Straubing prevail.

We meet Berlin, ... ... if Berlin and Schwenningen prevail.

We meet Straubing, ... ... if Straubing and Mannheim prevail.

We meet Schwenningen, ... ... if Schwenningen and Mannheim prevail.

A meeting with Mannheim in the semi-finals is not possible.

If we meet Schwenningen, we would have home ice in the semi-finals. In the other three scenarios - Berlin, Bremerhaven and Straubing - we would start the best-of-seven series away from home. One thing is certain: Game 1 of the semi-final series will take place on April 1.
