Hacker-Pschorr, the "Bavarian heaven" - but what is heaven for a true Bavarian? On the one hand, it's the incomparable landscape, cherished traditions, a belief in the genuine and a love of life, and on the other, of course, it's an honestly brewed, freshly tapped beer.
The Hacker-Pschorr beer tradition began in Munich as early as 1417. In the "Altes Hackerhaus" on Sendlinger Strasse, we still uphold our tradition today and serve our beers to guests from all over the world. In the 18th century, under the management of the married couple Maria Theresia Hacker and Joseph Pschorr, Hacker-Pschorr advanced to become one of Munich's leading breweries. The brewing processes have become more modern since then, but one thing has remained the same: the high quality standards and the courage to innovate.
Today, as in the past, the result is an honest, unadulterated and contemporary beer experience. In 2007, Hacker-Pschorr became the first Munich brewery to switch its entire product range to the traditional swing-top closure, thus underscoring its tradition, quality and individuality. Unadulterated, self-confident and contemporary, an expression of Bavarian joie de vivre.
