"One of the best games" opens Red Bull's big chance Voices & Stats for the fourth final game// DEL - CURRENTA cohesive team performance gave the Red Bulls their third win in this finals series. Coach Don Jackson went into raptures after the 3-0 win. Mathias Niederberger also emphasized what will be important in Game 5. The voices & stats.
Don Jackson (Coach, Red Bull München): "It was one of the best and closest games we have ever played. Ben Smith broke the spell with his goal in the 48th minute. Also, Mathias Niederberger was very strong in goal."
Mathias Niederberger (Goalkeeper, Red Bull München): "Today we hardly made any mistakes. Now we have to continue to focus on ourselves and create exactly the same again. We have to block everything out. Our goal is to close the series on Sunday."
Ben Smith (Forward, Red Bull München): "It was a close game over the entire duration of the game, it could have gone either way. Tough duels, lots of scoring chances and strong goaltending - it was fun. We need to bring the same energy to the ice in the next game."
Mark French (coach, ERC Ingolstadt): "It was a hard-fought game. We defended well, but didn't have any big pressure phases this time. That was because of our execution, but also because of the well-structured Munich team. In Game 3 we won more bullies, today we were much weaker - and had to chase first."
Fabio Wagner (defenseman, ERC Ingolstadt): "The only thing we can reproach ourselves for is the chance exploitation. We tried to push again in the last third and spend more time in the offensive zone - we didn't succeed."
