The last game of the 2023/24 PENNY DEL main round takes place next Friday. The derby against the Augsburg Panthers (7:30 pm, live on MagentaSport and on our blog) is also EHC Red Bull München's last main round game at the Olympia-Eisstadion, as they will be moving to the SAP Garden for the new season.

"The last main round game in the Olympic Ice Stadium is a derby in which home advantage for the playoffs is also at stake. We will do everything we can to win this game," explained Heigl in the "Sport Arena".

Playoffs, SAP Garden & teaming up with his twin brother

After the main round is before the playoffs. The Red Bulls will once again face the Grizzlys Wolfsburg in the quarter-finals. In this interview, Heigl talks about his anticipation of the "hottest time of the year" and the last games in the German champions' home town.

The 21-year-old forward also gives an insight into his personal goals for the coming years and enthuses about playing with his twin brother Thomas in Munich: "We're very free when we're on the ice together. We've always been at the same club, we know our routes - it's just fun to play with someone you know so well."
