Guaranteed spectacle at the Red Bulls: facts and figures on the international breakInterim summary after 15 of 52 main round matches// CURRENTJust over a quarter of the 2024/25 main round has been played and the PENNY DEL is going into the German Cup break. Time for a first interim summary. We provide you with the latest facts and figures.
Coach Max Kaltenhauser's team is fourth in the table - just as it was at the same time a year ago. High-scoring games are our trademark this season. The Red Bulls have scored an impressive 60 times in 15 games. An average of exactly four goals per game is a DEL top value. Just like our shooting percentage, which currently stands at 12.9 percent.
Quickly up to operating temperature
If you watch our team's games, you should be on time, because our boys are particularly fun to watch in the first period. We scored 15 goals, our opponents only scored five times. The goal difference of +10 before the first period break is another Munich record.

Uncompromising, precise and dominant
Our duel rate is also impressive. So far, our boys have won around 53% of duels - more than any other team in the German Ice Hockey League. The same applies to the passing rate, which at 85.3 percent is unmatched in the league. The combination of uncompromising tackling and precise passing makes us the team with the most controlled puck possession (33.1%).
Power in offense
The Red Bulls are also among the leaders in the individual statistics - especially the guys from our offensive department: Chris DeSousa is currently the second-best goal scorer in the DEL with nine goals. If he continues to score like this, he will set a new personal best in a DEL main round. Yasin Ehliz (eight goals) and Markus Eisenschmid (seven) are also on course for a personal record. DeSousa leads the internal scorer list with 16 points, just ahead of Andreas Eder (15 goals).

Increase compared to 2023 - with one exception
The Red Bulls scored an average of 1.80 points per game this season. At the same time a year ago, the points ratio was 1.72. We scored almost one goal more on average than in 2023 (then 3.1). In defense, however, we still have room for improvement. The goals conceded average (3.1) is higher than in the previous main round (2.4).
The next derby and other highlights: Be there in the SAP Garden!
After the international break, the Red Bulls continue with the home derby against the Straubing Tigers. Only very few day tickets are still available for the game on November 15. There are also only a few tickets left for the derby against the Augsburg Panthers (November 23 | 19:00). So if you want to see the Red Bulls live in the SAP Garden, you should get your tickets in good time. Get your tickets now for the following DEL games until the end of the calendar year.
