EHC Red Bull München plays DEL match in Czech RepublicWolfsburg vs Munich in Prague | Match kicks off on 6 December at 1 pm// CURRENTThe Grizzlys Wolfsburg and EHC Red Bull München will meet on 6 December (1 pm) as part of the Winter Hockey Games in Prague. It is the first time in the 30-year history of the DEL that a league game has been played abroad.

For the four-time German champions, it will also be the first DEL point game in the open air. With the participation of the two top German clubs, the PENNY DEL and the Czech Tipsport Extraliga are intensifying their close cooperation within the framework of Hockey Europe, the association of European professional ice hockey leagues.

Ice field hockey event with a total of seven games

The game is part of a spectacular ice hockey event in which a total of seven games will be played from December 5 to 8. These include two matches in the Czech first league, one match in the Slovak first league and a legends match featuring Czech and Slovak ice hockey stars. Magenta Sport will broadcast the game between Wolfsburg and Munich live from the specially built 16,000-capacity open-air arena on Prague's Letná hill.
