The first stadium seats have now been installed in the upper tier.The anticipation for our new home arena is growing from day to day. It is now only about three months until the opening of the SAP Garden and the opening game against the Buffalo Sabres NHL team (September 27 | 8:30 p.m.). Then you will be able to cheer on our team live for the first time in our new home.

There is another reason to look forward to the Grand Opening: now that all the block steps have been installed in the stands, the first seating shells have also been installed in the upper tier. A total of 11,500 seats will be installed around the main playing area.

"The SAP Garden is increasingly taking shape. This is particularly evident in the interior of the main playing area, where the first seats have now been installed. This is another important milestone on the way to the opening at the end of September, especially for future spectators. It will be an unforgettable moment for every visitor to take a seat in the new multifunctional sports arena for the first time and experience the impressive atmosphere in the SAP Garden live," says Business Director Oliver Wesp.
The new multifunctional arena offers space for up to 10,796 visitors in the ice hockey setup. In the basketball setup, the total capacity is up to 11,500 spectators. So soon it will be: on your marks, get set, go!

Blum is looking forward to a "real show"
Our fans can look forward to a unique spectator experience in the SAP Garden, with an optimal view of the playing field, no matter from which seat. Defender Jonathon Blum has already tried out such a stadium seat.
Despite the still empty stands, our number 24 was visibly impressed by the backdrop in the SAP Garden. Looking ahead to the opening game on September 27, he is certain: "The audience won't just experience an ice hockey game, it will be a real show!"

The game against Buffalo is already completely sold out, but there are still a few tickets left for our DEL premiere five days later (October 2 | 7:30 pm).
