First personnel decisions at Red Bull München// PERSONALThe sporting management of the four-time German champions EHC Red Bull München concluded the end-of-season talks with all players on April 30 and made the first personnel decisions.

Accordingly, 20 players are currently in the squad of the Red Bulls in the coming season. Goaltender Danny aus den Birken, Daryl Boyle, Nico Appendino, Emil Johansson, Frederik Tiffels, Justin Schütz and Sebastian Cimmerman will no longer wear the jersey of the Munich DEL club next season. Meanwhile, talks are ongoing with forward Julian Lutz and the NHL organization Arizona Coyotes.

An existing contract for the 2023/24 season own Konrad Abeltshauser, Daniel Allavena, Jonathon Blum, Maximilian Daubner, Chris DeSousa, Andreas Eder, Yasin Ehliz, Patrick Hager, Maximilian Kastner, Ryan McKiernan, Christopher Kolarz, Mathias Niederberger, Zach Redmond, Ben Smith, Ben Street, Maksymilian Szuber, Austin Ortega, Veit Oswald, Trevor Parkes and Filip Varejcka.

At this point, special thanks go to two particularly deserving players, the two Olympic silver heroes Aus den Birken and Boyle. Aus den Birken came to Munich in 2015, our DEL record player Boyle already a year before. Both routiniers played a major role in the Red Bulls' four championship titles and thus played a decisive role in shaping the club's history.
