"Servus Eisstadion": Big supporting programme at the derby against AugsburgLast home game of the main round at the Olympic Ice Stadium// NEWSOn Friday, EHC Red Bull München will play its last main round game at the Olympic Ice Stadium. Although we will also be playing the 2023/24 play-off games there, we are taking the opportunity to say "Servus ice stadium" with various tributes.
It's not just any derby: Next Friday, we'll be hosting the Augsburg Panthers for the last time at the Olympia-Eisstadion (7:30 pm | live on our blog and on MagentaSport). From a sporting point of view, we still have home ice in the play-off quarter-finals at stake, and we also want to use the opportunity of the last game of the main round to say goodbye to our time-honored home.

To this end, we have planned various activities that focus not only on the Olympic Ice Stadium, but also on you fans. We summarize the highlights for you - the rest remains a surprise.
Autograph session with club icons
Before the game, you can reminisce on the stadium forecourt. The Olympic Ice Stadium can be seen in numerous pictures of its transformation since construction began in 1965. You can immortalize yourselves on a screen behind the south curve until the start of the game.
You also have the unique opportunity to pick up a whole series of signatures from numerous club icons. An autograph session with former players such as Joey Vollmer, Frank Mauer and Uli Maurer will take place from 18:15 to 18:45 behind the north curve.
A piece of the Olympic Ice Stadium at home
Another treat: In the Bullshop Süd you can purchase a piece of Munich ice hockey history for ten euros. The framed Plexiglas rarity, which used to be installed in the ice stadium, is limited. So you have to be quick!

During the game - in which Toni Söderholm's players will wear the third jersey under the motto "Servus Eisstadion" - smaller events will also take place.
Abeltshauser: "It will be a bit more emotional"
The last main round game will be a gathering of old companions who will bid a fitting farewell to the Olympic Ice Stadium before a new, exciting era begins with the SAP Garden.
"We can look back on four incredible successes with our championships in this stadium. There are many stories in this arena. It will definitely be a bit more emotional on Friday, but we're also really looking forward to the SAP Garden," explains our defenseman Koni Abeltshauser.
We don't want to mourn the venerable stadium, but celebrate it once again and remember great moments together. Just to be on the safe side, pack your tissues anyway...
