Toni Söderholm: "We were much better today than in the first game. We were more present emotionally and on the ice. We came back after trailing 2-0 and had good chances in overtime, but then lost order briefly, which led to the decisive goal. But if we play like we did today, we deserve to win - even in this series."

Yasin Ehliz: "In the end, it's the little things - as always. Bremerhaven was better today. We have to stay out of the penalty box because they have a great overtime game. We know that we were also down 2-0 against Bremerhaven last year. But we definitely have the character and the quality in the team to turn this series around."

Maximilian Kastner: "Bremerhaven went into the playoffs with a very broad chest after winning the main round. But we did a lot of things right today. In the end, the decisive goal was missing. We had enough chances - especially in the final period and in overtime. We have to keep playing like that."

But especially in overtime, when we had periods of pressure against us, we stood tight and blocked shots. A strong individual performance then brought us victory. It was a strong team performance today. The special teams and the goalkeeper were the decisive factor."

Phillip Bruggisser (defenseman, Pinguins Bremerhaven): "I had a great chance earlier in the game but only hit the post. I'm all the happier that I was able to decide the game with my goal. Munich had some great chances, but Gudlevskis, the defenders and the forwards threw themselves into everything. We've matured in recent years."
