Toni Söderholm: "The 3-on-5 shorthanded situation in the second period gave us momentum and the goal shortly before the second intermission was important. But the series won't get any easier or more comfortable. Both teams like the physical game and we expect another very, very tough duel on Friday."
Trevor Parkes: "We keep getting the momentum on our side and we manage to overcome the resistance. When Wolfsburg scores, we have an answer ready. We hit back at the right moments. That's important and we have to keep that up. Everyone believes in the team. We have a lot of guys in the dressing room who have already won something and know what's important in the playoffs."
Nico Krämmer: "I love this time. The most honest ice-hockey is played in the playoffs. We've managed to turn the momentum at the right time again. We've always stayed true to our style of play. But a series isn't a sprint, it's a marathon - and it's only 2:0. Wolfsburg made a few adjustments. We can still improve a bit, but we won't change too much."
Mike Stewart (Coach, Grizzlys Wolfsburg): "Our start was good, but we played too often short-handed towards the end of the first period. That gave Munich the momentum. In the second period, we scored goals on the power play. The last two minutes in the middle period with the two goals we conceded were costly. The boys fought in the last 20 minutes. A bit more luck on the puck would have helped us. We'll go back to Wolfsburg and prepare for Game 3 on Friday."
Björn Krupp (defenseman, Grizzlys Wolfsburg): "We're down 0-2 in the series now. The good thing is: You have to win four games. So we're definitely still in it. We have to tick off the game and do a few little things better. Of course, conceding seven goals isn't great. But we'll stay positive and attack again on Friday."
