Kangasalusta to start with the Red Bulls after the World Cup
The 45-year-old Finn has been assistant coach of the German national ice hockey team since November 2022 and will still be behind the boards of the DEB team at the upcoming World Championship in Finland and Latvia (May 12-28, 2023). Following the World Cup, the coach will take up his duties with the Red Bulls. Between December last year and the end of the season, Kangasalusta was also the head coach of the Bietigheim Steelers in the PENNY DEL. Previously, Kangasalusta worked as a co-coach with Jokerit Helsinki (KHL) and HC Slovan Bratislava (Tipos extraliga), among others.
