For the Bavarian-born trio, it is also a return home.

One from Wolfsburg, two from Mannheim
Dominik Bittner is coming to Munich from the Grizzlys Wolfsburg. The 30-year-old national defender will strengthen the defense of new Munich coach Toni Söderholm. In return, the Weilheim-born right-shooter brings experience from 478 DEL games for Mannheim, Schwenningen and Wolfsburg. The defensive specialist will be number 3 in Munich.

Markus Eisenschmid last played for Adler Mannheim. The center from Marktoberdorf scored 18 goals and 16 assists in the past season. In the future, Eisenschmid will be scoring for the Red Bulls with the number 11 on his back. The 28-year-old, who also played three seasons in the AHL, is a versatile offensive player with great strengths in finishing and playmaking.

Nico Krämmer, the Red Bulls' new number 21, completes the trio. With 582 games and 197 scoring points in the DEL (Mannheim, Cologne, Hamburg and Ingolstadt), the 30-year-old forward is the most experienced professional in the lineup. The Landshut native joined Eisenschmid in winning the German championship with Mannheim in 2019, while Bittner took the title with the Adler in 2015.
