Rieder: "I want to become champion with the team"
"Red Bull has a top team and a top organization. What's more, after the birth of our daughter, it's time for my family and I to come back home after so many years abroad. Everything was just perfect," says Rieder. "The team has proven several times in the past that it can play at the very top. My goal is therefore clear: I want to become champion with the team," continues Rieder.
The family man is particularly looking forward to "seeing many of the players I already know from my youth or the national team again." It will also be great to "now be able to play with so many Bavarian professionals after many years away."
Rieder made 57 appearances for the German national team (13 goals, 17 assists). Born in Landshut, he has played in five world championships and the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.
