Red Bull München signs Nürnberg's top scorer Jeremy McKenna// PERSONNELEHC Red Bull München has strengthened its forward line by signing Jeremy McKenna. The 25-year-old Canadian has moved to the Bavarian capital from fellow DEL club Nürnberg Ice Tigers.
In his DEL debut season, the team's top scorer Jeremy McKenna was Nürnberg's top scorer with 28 goals. He also led the Ice Tigers in the playoffs with 12 points in nine games. Before joining Nürnberg, the forward gained experience in North America's second-highest division. In the AHL, the Canadian appeared in 100 games for the Toronto Marlies and the Coachella Valley Firebirds.
McKenna is already familiar with the Red Bulls' organization. In the 2015-16 season, the then 16-year-old was part of the Red Bull Ice Hockey Academy. There he played for both the U18 team and the Red Bull Hockey Juniors.

Switch to the Red Bulls a “firm desire”
Jeremy McKenna: “I'm really looking forward to playing for the Red Bulls again. After my season in the Red Bull Ice Hockey Academy, it was always my dream to one day wear the Red Bulls jersey again. I know that this is a first-class organization. After my great time with the Ice Tigers, I can't wait to impress the Münchner fans in the SAP Garden next season.”
Christian Winkler, Managing Director of Sports Red Bull Ice Hockey: “Jeremy showed what he is made of last season. His many goals did not come out of nowhere and are no coincidence. We are convinced that he will take the next step with us and strengthen our scoring. With his fresh and free way of playing ice hockey, he will enrich our game.”
McKenna will wear the number 91 for the Red Bulls in the future. The right-handed forward is currently preparing for the upcoming season at the Red Bull Ice Hockey Academy in Liefering, on the Bavarian-Austrian border.
