Red Bull München signs national player Schinko and CHL winner Ferguson// TEAMGerman international Luis Schinko and US Champions League winner Brady Ferguson will join EHC Red Bull München for the new 2025/26 season.
This was announced by Christian Winkler, Managing Director Sports Red Bull Ice Hockey, at the end-of-season event in front of over 1,000 fans at the SAP Garden.
Naturally, the club is "very happy" that Luis and Brady have chosen the Red Bulls, said Winkler. Schinko has "developed enormously in recent years, is a strong skater, has good scoring qualities and plays physical field hockey". Brady is a player who "has important qualities on and off the ice". Among other things, he is also characterized by a "pronounced winning and leadership mentality". Both fit "perfectly into our new direction".
German top scorer with Wolfsburg
Schinko has been under contract with DEL rivals Grizzlys Wolfsburg for the past four seasons. With 16 goals and twelve assists, the 24-year-old was Germany's top scorer and top scorer in the 2024/25 season with the Lower Saxons. The attacker also made three appearances for the German national team in the current season, in which Schinko contributed three goals and one assist.

According to the native of Landshut, the talks with the club managers were "always very positive". He was very quickly "convinced by the concept of the organization". Munich is "one of the best, if not the best address in German ice hockey". The decision to move to Munich was therefore an easy one for Schinko. His goal was to "take the next step".
Ferguson won the Champions League in 2022
The 30-year-old Ferguson joins the four-time German champions from Rögle BK. The American moved to the Swedish top club from overseas for the 2020/21 season. In 2022, the striker won the Champions League with this year's participants in the Red Bulls Salute (August 22-23). In the top Swedish league, Ferguson scored a total of 39 goals for his team and provided 83 assists.
