This is how the Red Bulls' end of season event went down in SAP Garden
Sunday, 06. April 2025 | EHC Red Bull München: That was the 2025 end of season event
This is how the Red Bulls' end of season event went down in SAP Garden// CURRENTOn Saturday, EHC Red Bull München held its traditional end-of-season event. Over 1,000 fans came to the SAP Garden to see the team off into the summer break, which is far too long.
“We are pleased that so many people came, even though we exited the playoffs too early,” Christian Winkler (Managing Director Sports Red Bull Ice Hockey) began his speech on stage at our new home.
After a season that was unsatisfactory overall, with many ups and downs, Winkler promised the fans: “We didn't achieve our goals, so we have to look in the mirror and analyze what we did well and what we didn't do so well. We will review everything and draw the right conclusions so that we can get back to where we belong.” In other words, the Red Bulls want to be back at the top next season.
Red Bulls take to the stage
The event kicked off in the early afternoon with cool drinks and a colorful supporting program. The first loud cheer was reserved for the U20 team, the Rookie Bulls Munich, who were celebrated by their fans for winning the Bavarian championship and advancing to DNL Division 3.

A few minutes later, stadium announcer Wolfgang Dittrich announced the Red Bulls' professional players. At 4:10 p.m., the time had come: the team, captained by Patrick Hager, took to the stage on the main playing area in the SAP Garden.
Our number 52 spoke of a “challenging season” that ended far too soon, but also of beautiful moments: “It's a lot of fun to play in front of a full SAP Garden. When over 10,000 spectators cheer together, it's something very special.”
Winkler announces first new signings
Preparations for the 2025-26 season are now in full swing. On Friday, we had already announced the first personnel decisions. At the end-of-season event, Winkler also announced the first two new additions for the upcoming season: national team player Luis Schinko and CHL winner Brady Ferguson. Further personnel decisions will follow in the coming weeks.
