Both have now made their debut for EHC Red Bull München. Time to get to know the duo better in a double interview.

Tell us something about yourselves. What role did ice hockey play in your childhood and youth?

Evan Fitzpatrick: "I'm from Canada, so I played a lot of ice hockey as a kid. I got into the Major Junior League when I was 16 during school. So my youth was very much influenced by field hockey.'' Will Riedell: ''My home, Greensboro in North Carolina, is not a big field hockey community. But I still started very early. I left the city when I was 16 and since then I've actually played all over the USA."

What kind of players are you and what kind of style of play can the fans expect from you?

Will Riedell: "I pride myself on my defensive game. I put a lot of emphasis on my physicality. But I also like to get into the game and support the offense after I win the glass'' Evan Fitzpatrick: ''For me, it's just important to keep as much as possible between the posts - and maybe make some things look easier than they are.'' What's your first impression of the SAP Garden?

Will Riedell: ''It's beautiful! It's an incredible, state-of-the-art facility. I've never played in an arena like this before." Evan Fitzpatrick: "One of the best stadiums and best dressing rooms I've been in. I still get lost from time to time, but it's still incredible (laughs)."
