Before the first game in the PENNY DEL, our boys opened the doors of the dressing room on Tuesday and answered questions from numerous media representatives.What has long been daily bread in the NHL has also become a tradition at EHC Red Bull München. Before each new DEL season and the DEL playoffs, the four-time German champions invite media representatives to the Open Locker Room at the Olympia Eisstadion.
First, on Tuesday, they were allowed to view the training session under new coach Toni Söderholm and were then invited to go into the team's dressing room. There, the media representatives were able to talk to all the players, shoot and record sounds. A video with impressions of the Open Locker Room will follow later today.

Hager: "Sign for the DEL start".
"In the meantime, it's standard for us that the media representatives get access to our dressing room once before the season. So that's always a sign, too, for the DEL start," said our captain Patrick Hager, who sees it as an opportunity for the fans: "It's a nice event where people get a glimpse of what it's like for us. Now we're all looking forward to it starting in the league on Thursday as well."
There, the forward wants to build on the last games in the CHL. "We are all looking forward to the DEL season. We got off to a great start in the Champions League with ten points out of twelve and are going into the first league game with a healthy dose of confidence. The important thing now is to focus fully on DEG and keep the three points in Munich," said Hager.
Coach Söderholm is also looking ahead to the first matchday at the Open Locker Room: "The anticipation for the start of the league on Thursday is very high. I expect a tough game against Düsseldorf, but we are well prepared for it. The players are very focused and have been working purposefully. It was a somewhat shorter, but very intensive preparation. We will perform with a lot of energy. Overall, the top is the goal."
