The Sauerland team won its home game against the Grizzlys Wolfsburg 4:2 on Friday. This was the Roosters' first three-pointer after four defeats in a row. Overall, our upcoming opponents have only won two of their last eleven games.
Iserlohn working to stay in the league
This is also reflected in the table, as coach Doug Shedden's team is currently 13th in the table after just over half of the season and is playing to stay in the German Ice Hockey League.
Iserlohn is far behind in terms of both the number of goals scored and the number of goals conceded, with only the powerplay performing solidly so far. With Michael Dal Colle, Branden Troock and Shane Gersich, the Roosters have some dangerous players in their ranks. This also includes Tyler Boland, even if the Canadian has yet to make his mark after a strong last season.
With a compact team performance over 60 minutes, our boys want to secure another home win and then spend a few quiet hours with their loved ones afterwards.
