The team is a force to be reckoned with away from home in particular; only Berlin are even better on the road. They also have an extremely compact defense, which is currently the best in the DEL with just 87 goals conceded.
Top trio around Urbas, Jeglic and Conrad
The offense is once again led by two familiar faces. Jan Urbas and Ziga Jeglic once again stand out from the attack and are good for goals in every situation. In mid-December, coach Popiesch cut the infamous "Karawanken Express" around the Slovenian trio of Urbas, Jeglic and Miha Verlic.
In place of Verlic, Colt Conrad has been in the first forward formation in recent weeks. The Canadian only joined the team in mid-October, but found his feet in Germany straight away. The dangerous right winger has already scored in double figures. The aim is to stop this streak on Sunday.
