Missed chances: Red Bulls learn their lessons from Game 4Quotes and stats for the fourth quarter-final// PLAYOFFS - CURRENTEHC Red Bull Munich had to accept the equalizer in the quarter-final series against Adler Mannheim on Sunday. Dominik Bittner explains what lessons the Red Bulls can learn from this game. The votes & stats.
Ben Smith (forward, EHC Red Bull Munich): "It was a close game. I'm proud of the way the guys fought. We had our chances - even on the power play. Now we look ahead and focus on the fifth game on Tuesday in Mannheim." Dominik Bittner (defender, EHC Red Bull Munich): "We played a bit too complicated offensively and preferred to take the next pass rather than the shot. We'll change that in the next game. And we'll play more for each other again by giving each other more time. We also want to play more securely out the back." Chris DeSousa (forward, EHC Red Bull Munich): "As expected, Mannheim came out with a lot of energy. But we got into the game better and better. We had our chances. Sometimes the shots go in, sometimes they don't. Luck is part of it. Tiefensee (goalkeeper Adler Mannheim) played a strong game today. It's a tight series."

Dallas Eakins (Coach, Adler Mannheim): "I'm proud of my guys who stuck together today. Our penalty killing did a great job. That was important. The goaltending was excellent, which was also important. But it was a tight affair, the game could easily have gone into overtime. Both teams are evenly matched and I'm still expecting a long series." Arno Tiefensee (goalkeeper, Adler Mannheim): "Tying the series is the most important thing. That was our goal and we've achieved it. Now it's a best-of-three series. We took too many penalties in Game 3 on Friday, so we wanted to stay out of the cooler today. The special teams certainly made a big difference. We scored in overtime, Munich didn't." Tom Kühnhackl (forward, Adler Mannheim): "It was a very intense game. We took an early lead, which of course gave us confidence. The win was hugely important."
