Dallas Eakins (Coach, Adler Mannheim): "I'm proud of my guys who stuck together today. Our penalty killing did a great job. That was important. The goaltending was excellent, which was also important. But it was a tight affair, the game could easily have gone into overtime. Both teams are evenly matched and I'm still expecting a long series."
Arno Tiefensee (goalkeeper, Adler Mannheim): "Tying the series is the most important thing. That was our goal and we've achieved it. Now it's a best-of-three series. We took too many penalties in Game 3 on Friday, so we wanted to stay out of the cooler today. The special teams certainly made a big difference. We scored in overtime, Munich didn't."
Tom Kühnhackl (forward, Adler Mannheim): "It was a very intense game. We took an early lead, which of course gave us confidence. The win was hugely important."
