Thus, the score in the best-of-seven series is 3:3.
The decision in the semifinals will be made on Wednesday in Game 7 at the Olympia-Eisstadion. Andreas Eder and Chris DeSousa scored for coach Don Jackson's team in front of 4,022 spectators at the Eis Arena Wolfsburg.

Gameplay
The two teams played a wild match in the first period. Munich had a clear advantage in chances, but Wolfsburg scored the first goal: Trevor Mingoia pushed the disc over the line from close range (18.). With this 1-0 lead for the hosts, they went into the dressing room.
Cold shower for the Red Bulls at the start of the middle period: After 68 seconds Tyler Morley deflected a shot from the blue line to 2:0 for the Grizzlys. After that, both teams went full throttle and Eder took advantage of one of Munich's many chances on the power play to tie the game in the 34th minute. But Wolfsburg answered promptly. Fabio Pfohl restored the old distance after a long pass (35th). Score after 40 minutes: 3:1 for efficient Grizzlys.
Red Bull München started aggressively into the final period and was quickly rewarded: DeSousa reduced the score to 2:3 after 47 seconds. In the following, the opponents fought a duel on a knife edge. Munich attacked vehemently, Wolfsburg defended with all its might. Three minutes before the end, coach Don Jackson took goalie Mathias Niederberger off the ice - even more pressure from the Red Bulls. But the equalizer would not come. 2:3 in Game 6, 3:3 in the semifinal series.
