Iserlohn has its sights set on the playoffs
Not so exciting, however, was the last game of our opponent from Iserlohn. The Roosters lost at the Kölner Haie with 1:7. The preliminary work to the only goal by Hubert Labrie made goalkeeper Hannibal Weitzmann, who was involved in a goal of his team for the second time this season. In addition, only our keeper Mathias Niederberger and Schwenningen's Joacim Eriksson managed to do so. Weitzmann has with his performance between the posts (catch rate: 92.3 percent) a large share of the fact that the Sauerländer play after the messed up start to the season for the playoff places.
Two Roosters are on average in every game involved in a goal: Casey Bailey leads the internal scorer list with 21 points, Kris Foucault brings it to 18 points, but had to pass last weekend due to illness. The best scorer in Greg Poss' team is Latvian Kaspars Daugavins (10 goals). In the two season duels so far, our boys had the offensive department of Iserlohn under control: Munich won away with 4:1 and followed up with a 5:2 home win about four weeks ago. On Wednesday, the Red Bulls want to follow up.
