Saturday, 01. February 2025 | DEL 43. matchday, preview: EHC Red Bull München visit Düsseldorf
Last game before the international break: Red Bulls visit Düsseldorf// DEL - PREVIEWOn Sunday, EHC Red Bull München will play the final game of the main round in the Rheinland. Düsseldorf EG awaits at 4.30 pm (live on MagentaSport, on our blog & Sportdeutschland.TV).
With their fourth win in a row in the bag, the Bulls now travel to DEG, before continuing on February 13 with a home game against the Schwenninger Wild Wings (get your tickets now). Coach Don Jackson's team also scored three points against Bremerhaven on Friday evening, winning 3:1.
Düsseldorf was not in action, after the tragic death of Tobias Eder the game at Eisbären Berlin was postponed. Most recently, the Red-Yellows won 4-3 on penalties against Schwenningen on Wednesday after trailing 3-0, confirming their clear upward trend.
Munich aim for second success at DEG
Three games, three away wins: that's the record between Munich and Düsseldorf this season. The Rheinländer prevailed both times in the Bavarian capital, but our team won clearly 8:0 in the PSD Bank Dome in mid-December. Now we want to even out the season's record and go into the international break with a sense of achievement.

Gaudet the best DEL striker in January
However, with five wins from the last seven games, DEG have been on the upswing for some time and now have a very good chance of staying in the league again. The strong January is inextricably linked to one name: Tyler Gaudet.
The 31-year-old Canadian is scoring and scoring on the assembly line. Gaudet only failed to score in one game this year, otherwise the attacker collected 17 points in nine games, including ten goals. In short: Gaudet is by far the most successful DEL forward in 2025, with Brendan O'Donnell (eight assists in January) scoring almost all of his goals. So this duo is particularly hot.
