Christian Winkler kicks for a good cause Charity event on Saturday at FC Sternstunden// CURRENTWhen FC Sternstunden plays soccer for a good cause at the naming ceremony of the Karl Wald Stadium in Penzberg on Saturday, Christian Winkler (Managing Director Sports Red Bull Ice Hockey) will also be on the pitch.

In addition to Winkler, the FC Sternstunden team includes other active and former sports stars, actors, cabaret artists, presenters and employees of Bayerischer Rundfunk. The team will play a game against a city selection from Penzberg on Saturday between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m.

All players are participating in the event on an honorary basis. The family-oriented event will be opened already at 10 a.m. by Mayor Stefan Korpan.

FC Sternstunden has already collected 1.3 million euros

Between April and October, around ten FC Sternstunden soccer matches are held each year. Since its foundation in 1993, the organization has already collected more than 1.3 million euros for charitable purposes with its specially initiated events. Children who are ill, disabled or in need are helped.
