Canadian consul visits the SAP Garden// NEWSIce hockey visit from Canada: David Dunkerley (Canadian Consul in Munich) and Geneviève Rolland (Québec's Delegate General to Germany, Austria and Switzerland) visited our new home, the SAP Garden, together.There are only five DEL home games left on the schedule before our last main round at the Olympia-Eisstadion is over. Although we will also play possible playoff games at our current venue, the 52nd matchday against the Augsburg Panthers already represents a small farewell. When we move into the SAP Garden for the 2024/25 season, a new era will begin at EHC Red Bull München.

The Canadian consul Dunkerley and the delegate general of Québec Rolland were also impressed during the tour of our future home. "It's exciting to finally see the inside of the arena. It will definitely be the best arena in Germany - maybe even in the whole of Europe," said Dunkerley, who is a big ice hockey fan himself.
His three children (aged six, eight and ten) all play for junior teams of EHC München e. V. "One of my boys is currently training at the Olympia-Eisstadion," the consul opened with a smile when asked about his interest in ice hockey and added: "I've already been to a few Red Bulls games. Including last season at the final game against Ingolstadt. That was incredible."
Rolland: "Can hardly wait"
The Quebec delegate general also enjoys ice hockey and was looking forward to the opening of the SAP Garden: "You can already imagine what it will be like when the arena is full of fans. I can hardly wait to come here for the first time when everything is ready."
