9 March then marks the official start of the ‘hottest time of the year’. The teams in 7th to 10th place will battle it out in a best-of-three format for the last two tickets to the quarter-finals. The teams ranked 1 to 6 qualify directly for the last eight. From then on, all further rounds will be played in a best-of-seven format. This means that four wins are required in each series to reach the next round or win the championship.
MagentaSport will show all games in the playoffs live, while DF1 will broadcast selected games on free-to-air TV.
