The 43-year-old will not be able to make the trip to the Sauerland due to a dental operation scheduled at short notice.Assistant coach Pierre Allard and Manuel Latusa (coach of the Red Bull Ice Hockey Academy U18 team) will replace the 43-year-old on the bench and take over his duties as a team. As usual, assistant coach Patrick Dallaire will be responsible for video analysis.
Kaltenhauser will return to the bench on Saturday (19:00) for the home derby against the Augsburg Panthers.
