About four and a half months ago, we became German champions in the PENNY DEL for the fourth time. Although the focus is already on the new season, which really kicks off with the Red Bulls Salute this weekend in Zell am See-Kaprun (secure tickets now), our team was once again honored for the historic 2022/23 championship season.

Dr. Markus Söder, Prime Minister of the Free State of Bavaria and CSU Chairman: "Congratulations to EHC Red Bull München on winning the German Ice Hockey Championship! German champion for the 4th time - that's quite an achievement! Bavaria is proud of you. Thank you for the visit to the State Chancellery and the special jersey. Continued success for the upcoming Champions League and the next DEL games!"

Christian Winkler, Managing Director Sports Red Bull Ice Hockey: "We would like to thank you very much for this not everyday invitation. It is a great honor for us to be here today. The team has earned it. Bavaria is the epicenter of German ice hockey and we want to exemplify that as the state capital - also with our new stadium, the SAP Garden. We also want to use it to further promote young talent. Bavaria for Munich and Munich for Bavaria, that is our goal. And of course we also want to win titles in the coming years."
