This was the season opening party of the Red Bulls// CURRENTIt's finally starting again! On Saturday, our boys played the first test match, and on Sunday, the team and fans rang in the new 2023/24 season together on the stadium forecourt.

Stadium announcer Stefan Schneider guided the about 1200 fans through the afternoon in the best summer weather. The highlight was, of course, the team presentation, but the players of the German champion initially left the field to others. Their fans. They had the one-time opportunity to immortalize themselves on the champions' banner.

And they didn't miss this opportunity, a long queue quickly formed. In the end, several hundred supporters signed the banner.

Söderholm and the team enter the stage

At 4:00 p.m., the stage was set for the Red Bulls. Schneider introduced each player individually - first our youngsters, and finally captain Patrick Hager. The latter assured, "We go into the season to be successful everywhere." The team was followed by the coaching team around our new coach Toni Söderholm as well as Christian Winkler, Managing Director Sports Red Bull Ice Hockey.

Afterwards, it was on with the autograph session. Our guys signed diligently on all jerseys, caps and cards. Photo requests were also fulfilled, of course. "The weather suits, the fans are in a good mood. It's nice to see everyone again," said Max Daubner. "It brings back memories of the championship celebration. It's just a nice way to ring in the new season together," added Konrad Abeltshauser.

Next Stop: Red Bull's Salute

The next treat is already around the corner. Next weekend, the Red Bulls Salute 2023 will take place in Zell am See-Kaprun. Our guys will play the semi-final game against the ZSC Lions on Saturday (August 26, 8:30 p.m.). The other participants: EC Red Bull Salzburg and Helsinki IFK. Come and support our boys.
