On Monday, Christian Winkler had his say again in "Die Eishockey Show" on Magenta Sport. He looked back and at the same time gave an outlook on the coming season.

... about the end-of-season event: "The disappointment about our elimination in the semi-finals was still palpable. But when we walked through the corridors for the last time - I also said a few words to the team - a lot of nice memories came back. The Olympic Ice Stadium has stood its ground for over 57 years. Now we're really looking forward to the SAP Garden."

... on the development at SAP Garden: "Progress has really picked up speed in recent months. A few months ago, we had an event where we let 400 fans onto the construction site. What has happened in and around the SAP Garden since then alone is enormous. The new stadium will be a quantum leap for ice hockey in Munich and Bavaria - and the fans are already excited about it."

... about the opening game against the Buffalo Sabres NHL team: "It was very important to us to be able to present a real high-caliber team for the opening game. The fact that it will be the Buffalo Sabres with JJ Peterka is of course particularly nice for us. The game will be an absolute highlight - we can open the SAP Garden with a bang."
