The recently injured forward Nikolaus Heigl hopes to make his comeback and first DEL appearance of the season this weekend.

Heigl: "On Wednesday, I was able to train with the team on the ice again for the first time after individual sessions. I feel very good and had no complaints." A decision on whether he will play on Friday will be made at short notice.

Nicolas Krämmer (lower body), Patrick Hager (upper body) and Veit Oswald (upper body) were other offensive regulars who missed the game against the Kölner Haie. Defenseman Emil Johansson (upper body) was also absent. Long-term injury victim Trevor Parkes (knee injury) is still sidelined.

Meanwhile, EHC Red Bull München is getting reinforcements from the Red Bull Ice Hockey Academy. With Nick Maul (forward | 18) and Paul Vinzens (forward | 19), two young players are currently able to prove themselves in professional training with the Red Bulls.

Tickets are still available for EHC Red Bull München's home game against Düsseldorfer EG on October 11 (7:30 pm). After the clash on Friday, the Red Bulls will play their first away game after four games at the SAP Garden against runners-up Pinguins Bremerhaven on Sunday (14:00).
