When the Red Bulls became champions for the fourth time
It's April 24, and the Red Bulls are already leading 3:1 in the final series against ERC Ingolstadt. A win means the fourth German championship. But the start is bumpy, in the 7th minute we initially fall behind. But in masterful style, captain Patrick Hager's team fights its way back.
Six minutes after the 0:1, the final MVP Maximilian Kastner scores the equalizer. After chances on both sides, it then takes until the 52nd minute before the Olympia-Eisstadion shakes again. Andi Eder, in overtime, takes the shot and sends it into the net with a powerful shot for a 2:1 lead. Filip Varejcka then makes the decision, scoring into the empty net one minute and 35 seconds before the final siren sounds to make it 3:1. The Red Bulls are champions - there is no stopping them.
