Champion's trophy on tour: Varejcka ensures unforgettable day// KIDS CLUBThe kids were amazed: the championship trophy is pretty huge! Filip Varejcka, Red Bulls forward and vice world champion, brought the DEL trophy into the children's rooms of five young Kids Club fans - and caused wide eyes.

Cup for all! Under this motto, all members of our ALPQUELL CheckerBande were able to apply to get up close and personal with the championship trophy. Almost 40 children applied and explained why the champion's trophy should end up in their nursery of all places. Raphael, Mateo and Leonhard as well as Pia and Paula were the lucky winners.

A big surprise

This week, Varejcka packed the pot into his Subaru Outback and hit the road. Our playoff goalgetter first visited the boys in the community of Neufahrn near Freising and then dropped in on the girls in Garching near Munich.

In addition to the DEL trophy, he had a surprise in his luggage: the World Cup silver medal. "It looks awesome and is pretty heavy", Paula and Pia marveled.

Varejcka does not go away empty-handed

The kids were not only impressed by the trophy and medal, our forward was also well received. "Filip is really nice and to see the trophy so close and in real is really awesome," raved Pia and Paula. The boys were also happy about the visit: "It's really cool and exciting, but we were also a bit excited."

For Varejcka, the afternoon was a successful change of pace. "We chatted and the kids asked me a lot of questions. It was fun," says the 22-year-old. He didn't go away empty-handed, by the way: "The girls drew a picture of me. So sweet, thank you very much."
