Kammerer runs hot, MacLeod back
Maximilian Kammerer is playing in a formation. The 27-year-old is in top form. Kammerer extended his scoring streak to a season-high 16 DEL games with a scoring brace against Schwenningen. The all-time record of Peter Draisaitl (21 games, 1994/95 season) is getting closer.
Gregor MacLeod leads the other line. The newcomer stands at 1.75 scoring points per game - not even Kammerer can keep up. When MacLeod had to sit out due to injury, the Sharks slipped five places in the standings. Now the powerful center is back. Our ex-player Justin Schütz, who benefits from MacLeod's overview, is happy about this.
Munich strong away, but Cologne catching up
After years of Munich dominance, Cologne has caught up in the duel standings. The Haie won the last two duels - including the 5:2 away win at the Olympia Eisstadion this season. In the cathedral city, however, there was little reason for the Haie to be happy, because the Red Bulls presented themselves from their best side. We won ten of the past eleven guest games in the Lanxess Arena. On Friday, number eleven may gladly be added.
