// DEL - HIGHLIGHTS
Red Bulls undefeated in best-of-seven series
Should the best-of-seven series go the full distance, the Red Bulls are prepared. Our boys have had to go into a decisive seventh game three times, and we have triumphed three times: in the 2017/18 final against the Eisbären Berlin, a year later in the semi-final against the Augsburger Panther, and in 2022/23 also in the semi-final against Wolfsburg.
It took us just twice as many games (14 each) in the 2016 and 2017 playoffs from game one in the quarterfinals to triumph in the last final game. It doesn't get much faster than that!
München playoff monster
The Red Bulls have been regular guests in the quarterfinals since the 2014/15 season. Our boys have even made it to the final six times, winning the title four times. The record is extraordinary: since the 2015 playoffs, München has been the only team to play more than 100 playoff games (107). Our 69 wins, win rate of 64.5 percent and 334 goals (an average of 3.1 goals per game) are also outstanding.

The Red Bulls' away record since 2015 is also impressive: we have won 61.2 percent (30 of 49) of our away games – another top result. Our quarter-final opponents Mannheim and the defending champions, Eisbären Berlin (53.7 percent), are a long way behind in second place.
Hager on the verge of a record
Patrick Hager is one of those players who seems to step up a gear during the summer vacation. The more important the game, the better the München captain plays. In 144 games, he scored 90 points. He is missing one goal to draw level with DEL all-time top scorer Patrick Reimer.
Yasin Ehliz is ranked third among all active DEL players with 72 points. Starting on Sunday, Hager and Ehliz want to improve their personal record – and help the Red Bulls advance to the semi-finals for the eighth time.
