Coach Don Jackson has given the Red Bulls until Saturday off. The players should recharge their batteries after the intense program of the past weeks, because on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. is already the next highlight on the agenda: In the round of 16 first leg of the Champions League, our guys receive the reigning Swiss champion EV Zug (live in the blog of our app) at home in the Olympia-Eisstadion.
For this top game in the European premier league awaits you a special offer! Buy two tickets and pay only one. Sounds too good to be true, right? But it is! At the home match against Zug, you save a whopping 50 percent if you put two tickets from the same price category in the shopping cart - whether seating or standing, main stand or back straight.
Justin Schütz and Maksymilian Szuber have incidentally already auditioned the first leg against EVZ pros Luca De Nisco and Dario Allenspach on the console - and clearly beat their Swiss colleagues 9:1.

The prize: a Gameworn jersey of Zug from the current CHL season. The jersey will be auctioned off soon, the proceeds will go to the junior department of EHC München e. V.
Bavarian coziness beats cabin smell Our guys and their Swiss counterparts chose different setups: the two Red Bulls made themselves comfortable on the couch in Suber's apartment, De Nisco and Allenspach sat in the EVZ locker room - in a haze of sweaty field hockey gear. Things got uncomfortable for the Zugers after the puck drop, too. "I've been playing NHL on the console a lot," Schütz reported. It wasn't the first time Szuber had the controller in his hand either. And the opposing duo quickly got to feel that.
Playful Red Bulls in scoring mood
Our youngsters started strong, Ryan McKiernan and Chris DeSousa netted in the first 20 minutes. In the second period Patrick Hager and DeSousa added to the interim 4-0. For De Nisco, things were clear: "They're more cold-blooded."
He was nonetheless combative, even after Zach Redmond conceded his fifth goal: "The game's not lost yet." The Munich show went on, though, and after Hager's 6-0, Szuber asked wryly, "What do you think, Justin, do they even have the will?" They did, although Maximilian Kastner and Yasin Ehliz increased it to 8:0. But then it was finally time, the Zuger Ehrentreffer finally let a smile flit over the two EVZ professionals.
Zuger want to give the answer on the ice
The final point to 9:1 final score set Schütz - with the virtual player Schütz. "We sent the guys home with 9:1," laughed the final scorer, and Szuber added: "Hopefully things will go as well for us on Tuesday." The Swiss won't make it that easy for the Red Bulls, though. "We've saved the goals for on the ice," Allenspach announced. The answer to how it will actually go will be on Tuesday at Oberwiesenfeld. The return match will take place eight days later (November 23 | 7:45 pm) in Zug.
