Journey to the future: Red Bulls at the SAP Gardens construction site// CURRENTOn Tuesday, the entire Red Bull München team went on an expedition to the SAP Garden after ice training. In the process, our guys got exciting insights into the future.

At 1:12 p.m., the Red Bulls' troop set off for the construction site. Equipped with high-visibility vest, safety shoes and construction helmet. "I don't know if I'd make a good construction worker, but certainly a hard-working one," jokes Mathias Niederberger. However, our players were not in their future home to lend a hand.

"Simply gigantic"

They got a tour of their future hallowed halls. From the upper tiers to the catacombs, through the wellness area and the huge weight room to the team cabin. The big highlight followed at the end: the walk from the dressing room onto the "ice". This is where several cranes are still standing and countless construction workers and technicians are at work. Completion of the SAP Garden is scheduled for spring 2024.

"It's simply gigantic," Niederberger marvels as he looks down from the stands in the upper tier. The shell of the new multifunctional sports arena in the Olympic Park has been completed since mid-February. Even if it still requires a bit of imagination at this point, Andreas Eder is certain that the SAP Garden "will be the ultimate in all of Germany. I'm really looking forward to it!"
