Brockmann and Pätzold complete the Red Bulls' junior coaching team// YOUTHFour weeks ago, the Red Bulls completed their professional coaching team with assistant coach Max Kaltenhauser. Now the functional team for the Red Bulls' youngsters is also in place. All nine coaching positions from U9 upwards are now filled full-time.
With Andreas Brockmann and Dimitri Pätzold, two well-known representatives of German professional ice hockey have joined the team of junior coaches. Brockmann will coach the U20 team in the future. The 57-year-old from Bad Tölz can draw on a wealth of experience. As a player, he won the German championship five times with Düsseldorfer EG. He also donned the German national team jersey 42 times and was co-coach of the DEB team at the 2013 Ice Hockey World Championship.

He also passed on his knowledge to the young talents at his home club EC Bad Tölz - as he is now doing in Munich. Frank Hohenadl, a long-time coach from the Munich junior team, will assist him with the Red Bulls' U20 team.
Pätzold looks back on 15 years in the DEL and several NHL games
Pätzold can also look back on a successful professional career. The former German national goalkeeper played 15 years in the top German ice hockey league. He also played several games for the San Jose Sharks in the National Hockey League (NHL), the best ice hockey league in the world. After his active career, Pätzold also embarked on a coaching career. At DEL2 club EV Landshut, the now 41-year-old was most recently responsible for the professional and youth teams as goalkeeping coach, and is now in charge of the youngster goalies in Munich's junior teams.

Head coach Matt Nee and assistant coach Ron Chyzowski will be in charge of the U17s. The U15 coach will be Raoul Valtiner, a former player from the Red Bull Ice Hockey Academy. The new athletics coach Tobias Bammer also comes from the academy. He is responsible for the entire junior squad in the area of fitness.
The coaches for the younger age groups are also full-time. Vincenz Stegner is responsible for the U13s, Sascha Günzel for the U11s and Kilian Dümpelmann for the U9s and the ice hockey school. All three used to play for the Munich junior team themselves.
Niklas Hede is responsible for all youth teams in his role as Director of Development Youth. He reports to the Managing Director Sports of Red Bull Munich, Lorenz Funk.
