The two previous playoff series against the Fishtowners were clearly won by our boys in 2017 and 2018. In contrast, the balance from the just concluded main round is even: Bremerhaven as well as Munich were able to win twice each.

Bremerhaven eliminates Nuremberg

The team of coach Thomas Popiesch has prevailed in the 1st playoff round against the Nürnberg Ice Tigers and thus solved one of the remaining two tickets for the quarterfinals. The Munich team had already qualified for the knockout round several weeks ago. "We've had a very good balance of defense and offense so far, so hopefully it will be the same in the playoffs," says captain Patrick Hager ahead of the start of the hottest time of the year.

Kick-off in front of a home crowd

In the quarterfinals (best-of-seven mode), it's main round winner versus main round eighth. The #Mission4Minga starts next Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the home Olympia-Eisstadion.
