Course of the game
The Red Bulls went forward right away and scored the first goals, but Iserlohn also made pinpricks. After the lively start, both teams defended consistently. Chances were therefore scarce. Thus it went into the first break without a goal.
After the change of ends, the Red Bulls had the better start and scored 1:0 through Oswald (23rd). Iserlohn then pressed for the equalizer. This was initially prevented by the post and the strong Daniel Allavena, before Eric Cornel scored the 1:1 (30.). After that, it was an open exchange of blows with opportunities on both sides. Parkes used one of them to make it 2-1 for Munich (34th) - at the same time the score after two thirds.
Iserlohn needed a goal, but the Red Bulls defended with concentration and followed up with a double strike: First Eder increased (44th), before Parkes scored his brace in overtime (45th). After the 4:1, the Roosters tried everything again, but Allavena was the last stop. In the 55th minute, Krämmer put the lid on it with his goal to make it 5:1. The Roosters' final goal by Maciej Rutkowski four seconds before the final siren was clearly too late.
