On the occasion of the playoffs, the Red Bulls opened locker room doors and answered questions from numerous media representatives ahead of the quarter-final series against Wolfsburg.

The NHL custom has now also become a tradition at Red Bull Munich. Before the start of the season and before the first playoff game, we invite journalists into the sanctuary of our boys: the dressing room.

First, the media representatives who accepted the invitation were able to watch the training session led by coach Toni Söderholm. Afterwards, more than 20 journalists took the opportunity to conduct interviews with our players and coaches in the team area.

Hager: "Sign that the playoffs are about to start"

"For us players, the Open Locker Room is a welcome change and a sign that the playoffs are starting," explains Munich's captain Patrick Hager and adds: "It's a special opportunity for media representatives to meet all the players at once. We're happy that so many media are here and are interested in us. We are happy to answer questions. And now we're looking forward to the start of the playoffs on Saturday."

Söderholm relies on "will to win and commitment" against Wolfsburg

The predominant topic on Thursday was, of course, the upcoming quarter-final series against the Grizzlys Wolfsburg. "Both teams have respect for each other. The games this season have all been close," explained Söderholm, adding: "In the playoffs, every duel is even tougher. Both teams are strong in their own way. To a large extent, it comes down to the will to win and commitment."
