Adam Brooks: "It's a great honor for me to be part of this great field hockey organization. I fell in love with the city and its people during a visit last summer. When the offer came, that experience also played a big role in my decision. I can't wait to get back to Munich and play field hockey in front of the great fans. I know I'll be part of a team with a real winning mentality. I hope I can bring the title back to Munich with the team next season."
Winkler: "Didn't want the quickest solution, but the best"
Christian Winkler, Managing Director Sports Red Bull Ice Hockey: "We deliberately took our time when it came to filling the important center position. We didn't want the quickest solution, but the best solution from our point of view. We've been in contact with Adam for a while now. All the information we have gathered has convinced us that Adam is the perfect candidate for us. With his speed and other outstanding skills, he will make our team even better."
Brooks is expected to arrive in the Bavarian capital at the end of July. The Canadian will wear jersey number 77 for the four-time German champions.
