SAP Garden milestone in pictures: First cooling system installedFoundation laid for ice on the training surfaces// SAP GARDENThe SAP Garden continues to develop. In addition to the progress of the arena facade, which already has the striking pilaster strips almost all around it, there is also a lot going on inside.
We still have to wait until next year before the Red Bulls play their games in Germany's most modern arena. But the new home of the German champions is already making great progress.
With the installation of the first cooling systems under the training areas, perhaps the most important step has been taken so that our boys can let the puck dance across the ice in front of a new backdrop next year.
Installation in the bowl follows
The floor under the surfaces is traversed by large metal tubes. The cooling liquid that can keep the ice permanently frozen will later flow through these.
Work began on the three separate training areas next to the arena itself. The SAP Gardens bowl, where the Red Bulls will play their home games from the 2024/25 season, will follow.
500 fans are given first glimpse
Prior to the relocation, the first 500 fans of the German ice hockey champions are already invited to the exclusive "SAP Garden Sneak Preview".
On October 22, Christian Winkler (Managing Director Sports Red Bull Ice Hockey) and our stadium announcer Stefan Schneider will welcome the winners of the already completed raffle in our new venue.
