DEL publishes match schedule: Red Bulls open season against DEGTicket presale starts on July 25// DEL - CURRENTThe Red Bulls open the upcoming 30th season on September 14 at Olympia-Eisstadion. For the opener, we welcome the Düsseldorfer EG at 7:30 pm. This was announced by the PENNY DEL on Monday at the presentation of the match schedule for the 2023/24 season.

On the second matchday, coach Toni Söderholm's team will face Adler Mannheim away from home. The duel of the two DEL heavyweights will take place on September 17 at 7:00 pm. The rematch of last season's final between Munich and Ingolstadt will be played for the first time on October 8 at 4:30 pm. EHC Red Bull München will then play its last game of the main round on March 8 in its own arena against the Augsburg Panthers. All DEL duels on the last and penultimate matchday will start at the same time as usual.

Söderholm: "Can now go deeper into the planning"

"We are of course very pleased to be able to open the season in Germany's top ice hockey division for the second time. With DEG, we have an extremely attractive opponent right at the start in our own arena. In addition, it's always exciting to finally have the complete schedule in our hands. Now we can go deeper into the planning step by step," explains Munich coach Toni Söderholm.

In contrast to the past two seasons, this time 14 clubs will again start the race for the German championship. This means 52 main-round games for each team, making a total of 364 main-round encounters. Between November 6 and 15, play in the PENNY DEL will be suspended for the Deutschland Cup (November 8 to 12). The decisive phase will begin on March 10, 2024 with the 1st playoff round (best-of-three mode). From the quarter-finals onwards, the title will be contested in best-of-seven mode. The new champion will be crowned on April 30, 2024 at the latest.

Advance ticket sales start on July 25

Advance ticket sales for all of the Red Bulls' DEL home games until the German Cup break will start on July 25. Season tickets can already be purchased since March this year. With the season ticket, Munich fans have the opportunity to watch all 26 main round home games of the Red Bulls live from 359 euros. As usual, all DEL games can be seen live on MagentaSport, and ServusTV also shows some games live on free TV.
